CMS Reminder:
There will be a 7th and 8th-grade field trip meeting for parents tomorrow (10/18) at 4:00 p.m. in the Middle School cafeteria. This meeting will provide information regarding our 7th and 8th grade spring field trips. Field trip paperwork and important information will be distributed and discussed. If you cannot make the meeting, the paperwork will be sent home with your child the following day. If you have any questions, please contact Miss Sauerwein (7th grade) or Mrs. Beech (8th grade). CMS: Just a reminder that tomorrow will be our last day to accept permission slips for YSU's MegaMath day. This opportunity is available for our 7th and 8th grade advanced/accelerated math students.
The day will include fun workshops, activities, and competitions involving the beauty and power of math! If you are truly interested in mathematics and enjoy problem-solving, please bring a signed permission slip with $10 by tomorrow, Wednesday, 10/11. Questions can be referred to Mr. Graham or Mrs. Mediate.

CMS: Congratulations to our cross-country student-athletes on becoming EOAC Champions! The 7th/8th grade boys are league champions. Eric Hepner placed first and Peyton Boggs finished 4th overall. Both boys are named to first-team cross country.
The 7th/8th grade girls finished 2nd overall as a team in the league. Aubrey Quetot is the league champion and Katie Benner is the runner-up.
For 5th and 6th grade, Aubrey Looslie and Cole Madden took 1st place and Jaydyn Dickey placed second in their races.

Booster Club Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser:
Spaghetti and Meatball Dinner with Salad, Bread, Beverage and Dessert for $10 - Friday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Twin Oaks Pavilion. We hope to see you there!

CMS: In honor of Monday night's Steelers/Browns game, students and staff are encouraged to participate in our annual CMS Steelers/Browns dress-up day on Monday (9/18). Feel free to wear your other favorite professional sports team gear as well on this day.
Reminder: CMS picture day is this coming Thursday, September 21st, in the morning.

CMS: As per our student handbook and orientation evening information, our cafeteria doors lock at 7:40 for safety purposes. We appreciate you dropping students off at the door promptly between 7:10 and 7:40. We have offered some grace and warnings for the first few weeks of school. However, students dropped off after the 7:40 tardy bell must sign in at the office by going through the front doors of the building.
Thank you so much for your help with students arriving to school on time.
