CMS: We are so excited to announce that Leighton Lalama is heading to Orlando for her national swimming competition! This is her 3rd year in a row representing her team, and we couldn’t be more proud of her hard work and dedication. Leighton will be swimming in several events: • 200 Medley Relay (50 Back) • 200 Freestyle Relay (50 Free) • 400 Medley Relay (100 Back) • 50 Fly • 100 IM (Individual Medley) We wish Leighton the best of luck as she competes and continues to shine in the pool! CMS: This is just a reminder that our 6th grade Parent Meeting for the Camp Fitch trip will be tomorrow, Wednesday, March 19, in the middle school cafeteria. Please park in the back of the school and enter through the CMS cafeteria doors (pick up/drop off doors). The meeting will start promptly at 5 pm. We strongly suggest all parents and students attend this meeting. All required paperwork and final payments should be brought to this meeting. If paying by check, please make it out to Columbiana Middle School. A representative from Camp Fitch will also be at the meeting to answer any questions.

Congratulations to Mr. Jeff Jackson for being named "Educator of the Year" by the Columbiana Area Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Jackson will be recognized in the the 72nd Harvey Awards Program on April 4th. Also being recognized are former students: Rebecca Clark - Young Citizen of the Year and Jake Ward - Outstanding Community Service.
