As we approach the end of the academic year, please remember we have a few changes in our schedule these last two Fridays.
No School for CMS students (traditional and remote) this Friday (5/21/2021). This waiver day is for Columbiana Middle School only
as our middle school staff will be engaged in an all-day training.
Early Release on Next Friday/Last Day of School (5/28/2021)
Columbiana Middle School students will be dismissed at approximately 12:45. Students may still be picked up at the back of the building/cafeteria doors at 12:45. There may be a slight delay due to our 8th grade send-off.

Students that participated in the Horst Meat Sale, Order Pick-up is scheduled for Wednesday, May 19, 2021 from 4:30 to 5:30 PM.
Pick-Up will be in the back parking lot by the band room entrance.

CMS: Just a reminder that Columbiana Middle School will have a waiver day (no school for students) this Friday, May 21st. This is for Columbiana Middle School only. CMS: Yearbook order forms are now available in the CMS office for 2020-2021 yearbooks! Yearbooks are $14 each and orders are due by May 22.

We are so excited to release our next Connecting with the Clippers series, a spotlight on the Class of 2021. CHS seniors talk about their high school memories, future plans after graduation, and all of the activities they participated in during their high school career at CHS. CMS: Students should bring home information regarding our NWEA Growth Map Diagnostic that will be administered to all middle school students next week. The information can be viewed here.
CMS: The support for Team Sam has been amazing this week. I cannot thank you enough for your generosity during this time. It has been amazing watching our students work together in a fun, yet productive manner for an amazing cause.
Tomorrow will be the last day of our penny war/coin drive. Students may bring pennies tomorrow or any other currency to sabotage another homeroom. Students may also purchase rolls of pennies in the office in the morning to add to the dollar amount within their homeroom.
We will provide a preliminary estimated amount raised tomorrow at the end of the day. Next week, we will provide an official total and announce homeroom winners and prizes.

CMS Summer Enrichment
We have sent home information regarding summer school to families of students where summer enrichment is recommended.
For planning purposes, we are asking that these forms be returned to the school by next Friday (5/7) indicating whether your child will participate or not.
