Our 6th grade explorations class had written outrageous requests. CMS sixth-grader, Lily Jackson had written to Mr. James, the owner of the Southern Park Mall Chick-fil-A. As part of the outrageous request, Mr. James agreed to come out and present to our entire school regarding hard work, dedication, kindness, leadership, and entrepreneurship. Mr. James also offered free Chick-Fil-A to Lilly Jackson and will provide lunch for Mrs. Cappuzzello's Explorations class in the next few weeks. A very special thank you to Mr. and Mrs. James for taking the time and spending a fantastic afternoon with our CMS students.
Reminder...NEON 7th/8th grade informal dance is tomorrow evening from 6:00-8:00 at CMS. Students will enter through the front doors of the middle school. Tickets are $3.00 at the door.

Congratulations to Preston Buckingham for qualifying for the OHSAA State Swim Meet. Preston will be competing in the 100-yard breaststroke and 200-yard IM today and tomorrow! Good Luck at State Preston!!

CMS: CHS school counselor, Mrs. Cleghorn, will meet with 8th-grade students next Friday (2/24) to work with students on scheduling for the 23-24 school year. Our CMS students had a blast at Taco and Tie Dye. Thank you to all who came out to join us and to our amazing PTO for providing this opportunity for our students.
CMS: Next Thursday (2/16), we will participate in a day where all students and staff are encouraged to wear brown to support those impacted by the EP train derailment. We will take a picture of those who participate.
We will also collect money in SUCCESS period on that day (2/16). All proceeds will be sent to EP schools to purchase items needed. The grade level that raises the most money will receive a reward.
