We’re excited to welcome you back for another fantastic school year! Packet pick-up is just around the corner, and we want to ensure you have all the information you need to start the year off right.
PACKET PICK-UP IS ON THE FOLLOWING DAYS:
• FRIDAY, AUGUST 16, 2024 9:00-3:00
or
• MONDAY, AUGUST 19, 2024 12:00-3:00
During packet pick-up, you’ll receive important documents, including:
• Student Home Room Assignments
• School Year Calendar and Time Schedule
• Drop-Off and Pick-Up Details and Car Tags
• Pre-ordered 2023-24 School Yearbooks
• Emergency Forms and other school required documents
Packets not picked up will be on student desks during our ANNUAL OPEN HOUSE ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 20, 2024 FROM 5:00-6:30pm. Feel free to bring school supplies on Open House Night. Bus Drivers will be present as well to answer any questions you may have.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the sad news of the passing of Coach Larry Baughman. Larry was more than just a coach and Assistant Athletic Director; he was a dedicated Clipper supporter whose passion and commitment have left an indelible mark on the community.
Larry's contributions extended far beyond the field and gym. His guidance, mentorship and unwavering support for our students embodied the true spirit of the Clipper Family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Larry's family during this difficult time. We will keep you informed about any memorial services or events to honor his memory.
Please join us in remembering and celebrating Coach Larry Baughman, a true Clipper!!
District Wide Notification:
The district will release classes 2 hours early on May 30th PreK-12. All transportation will be 2 hours earlier than the normal schedule. Please direct any questions to the respective office(s). Thank you and have a great finish to your school year!! Good luck Seniors -- Class of 2024!!!
Columbiana Schools will operate on a two-hour early release at all three buildings on the last day of school for students (Thursday, May 30th). Dismissal and transportation will run two hours earlier than usual on that day.

Congratulations to this year's Columbiana Middle School Spelling Bee contestants!
Special congratulations goes out to Columbiana Middle School District Champion, Eric Hepner and runner up, Sidney Schlueter who both qualify for the County Spelling Bee. Also qualifying for the County Spelling Bee on March 2nd at Beaver Local High School is Brooke Mazzone and Kingsley Wang! Great job to all of our participants!!
Dixon: Good afternoon, if you are picking your child up as a car rider, please consider using Stanton to enter vs. W. Salem. I would like to request the same during morning drop-off. This will allow for a better traffic pattern and flow while Columbia Gas is working out front of the building. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Due to mechanical issues, bus #6 will be running about 15 minutes behind schedule this afternoon as another bus arrives to finish the route. Thanks for your patience and have a wonderful weekend!
The Columbiana Exempted Village Schools will be closed today, Friday, January 19th. Evening activities may also be impacted. Determinations about the activities for the evening will be determined after 12 noon today. Thank you .
The Columbiana Exempted Village School District will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, January 17 due to extreme weather conditions: expected very low temperatures coupled with -12 to -15 wind chill advisory.
Three Clipper Speech superstars score the top three spots and cash for their skill in the Columbiana Rotary Four-Way Speech. 1st - Delaney Kocanjer $100, 2nd - Audrey Barborak $75 and 3 - Paige Lawton $50. Delaney will represent the Columbiana Rotary in the state event in April. Congratulations to all three of our talented Clipper students!
