It is with a heavy heart that we share the sad news of the passing of Coach Larry Baughman. Larry was more than just a coach and Assistant Athletic Director; he was a dedicated Clipper supporter whose passion and commitment have left an indelible mark on the community. Larry's contributions extended far beyond the field and gym. His guidance, mentorship and unwavering support for our students embodied the true spirit of the Clipper Family. Our thoughts and prayers are with Larry's family during this difficult time. We will keep you informed about any memorial services or events to honor his memory. Please join us in remembering and celebrating Coach Larry Baughman, a true Clipper!!

CMS: This is just a reminder that we will be operating on a two-hour early dismissal today (5/30). All CMS students will be dismissed between 12:40 and 12:45. Have a great summer & Go Clips!

CMS: The Clipper High School boys basketball program will sponsor the annual youth camp from June 12th-15th. Registration closes on June 2nd. This camp is for boys going into grades 2nd-6th grade for the 2024/2025 school year. You can register at columbianaboysbasketball.com under the youth tab. Our CMS fifth grade choir won first place in their category (treble choir) on Saturday at Music in the Parks! Also, Mason Vogelberger was given the "outstanding vocal soloist" award by the judges! Congrats to our fifth grade choir!

District Wide Notification: The district will release classes 2 hours early on May 30th PreK-12. All transportation will be 2 hours earlier than the normal schedule. Columbiana Schools will operate on a two-hour early release at all three buildings on the last day of school for students (Thursday, May 30th). Dismissal and transportation will run two hours earlier than usual on that day. Have a great day & Go Clips!

CMS: Congratulations to our Young Citizen of the Year, Jillian Wolsonovich. Jillian was nominated by Mrs. Baylor, Mrs. Edwards, and Mr. Martin for the award and was honored at the annual Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet on Friday, April 5th. Great job, Jilly!

CMS: Congratulations to Mr. Liam Linebaugh, this year's Outstanding Boy Scout of the Year. Liam was honored at the 76th Youth Recognition Awards sponsored by the Columbiana Rotary Club. Congratulations, Liam!

CMS Football: We will have a mandatory sign-up and parent meeting on Saturday, June 1st, at 9:00 a.m. in the high school cafeteria for current 6th and 7th-grade students interested in CMS Football. Paperwork, summer and fall schedules and any other important information will be distributed at that meeting. Also, it is important to sign up for Remind 101 by texting @rstallsmi to the number 81010. All parent-coach communication will go through Remind 101.

CMS Reminder: All students in grades 5, 6, and 7 are reminded to return scheduling forms. These must be signed by a parent or guardian and returned by Wednesday, May 1st for students to be scheduled into elective/music offerings for the upcoming year. Thank you for your help with this.
