Columbiana Exempted Village School District is putting together a slideshow to honor our veterans. Students can submit a picture of a family member who is veteran, past or present. Please see the link below for instructions and specific information needed for the

CMS Reminder: Parent/Teacher conferences are scheduled for tomorrow (10/14) evening from 2:45-9:00. All parents should use the front entrance of the middle school for conferences. Masks are required. Please contact the office (330-482-5354) with questions or to schedule an appointment. Go Clips!

CMS Picture retake/makeup day will be Tuesday, Oct. 13. Students getting pictures retaken should bring their original pictures for return. Remote students desiring to have their picture taken/retaken should report to CHS between 8AM and 9AM. Also, pictures are now available in the CMS office for remote students to pick-up before 2:30PM daily.

CMS: The 5th Grade Band informational meeting is scheduled for 7:00 PM, Thursday, September 24, 2020. Students, parents, and caregivers are encouraged to attend this virtual meeting. The Zoom meeting link will be posted to the 5th Grade Google Classroom. During the meeting, Mr. Miller will discuss 5h grade band expectations and provide additional information related to the instrumental music program.
Additionally, Music and Arts will present information on how to obtain an industry-leading, high-quality instrument for beginning band members. Mr. Miller is looking forward to seeing all our 5th-grade band students and their families at this meeting.

CMS: We have had a wonderful start to the school year!
We are still missing beginning of year paperwork for many of our students, especially remote learners. The opening week paperwork includes: Emergency Medical, AUP, Yearbook and Video permissions, and an internet survey. Please make sure these forms are returned to the CMS office by Wednesday (9/16). These forms are required whether your student is traditional or remote.

CMS: Envelopes should have arrived home yesterday with your child for school pictures. Pictures will be taken tomorrow (9/10). Traditional students should come to school tomorrow with completed forms. Remote and online learners are to report to the band room doors at the rear of the high school between 11:30AM and 4PM . Forms will be available on-site prior to getting your picture taken. If you cannot make it during the specified window and need to come prior to 11:30AM, please enter through the CHS front doors. However, we highly encourage you to arrive between 11:30 and 4:00. Have a great day & Go Clips!

CMS: Happy Labor Day! Reminder: Starting tomorrow (9/8) we will begin dismissing 5th/6th grade walkers and car riders at 2:35, 7th and 8th grade walkers and car riders at 2:40. Bus rider dismissal will remain 2:45.

CMS: Due to the large amount of congestion in the parking lot at dismissal time, we will implement a staggered dismissal schedule for walkers/riders starting on Tuesday (9/8) when we return to school.
5th and 6th grade walkers/riders will be dismissed for the day at 2:35 pm.
7th and 8th grade walkers/riders will be dismissed for the day at 2:40 pm.
Grades 5-8 bus riders will be dismissed for the day at the usual 2:45 pm.
We are confident these changes will assist in keeping our students safe.

CMS: Picture envelopes have just arrived in the office. As a result, we will hand out picture envelopes to students on Tuesday morning. School pictures will be taken on Thursday (9/10). Remote student pictures will be taken in the CHS auditorium on Thursday (9/10) from noon until 4:00 pm. Remote sttudents will need to be brought to the back of the high school and enter through the CHS band doors. Envelopes will be available upon arrival (on Thursday) or can be picked up in the front office on Tuesday. Have a great weekend and Go Clips!
