CMS: Good morning Clippers! Tomorrow (12/18) we will have a traditional day of in-school learning for our pilots. We have moved our cute/ugly sweater day to tomorrow for our pilots' last day prior to break.
Remote students, pilots and aviators should check emails and Google Classroom for further instructions from teachers regarding expectations for tomorrow. All students who are behind on their work should take advantage of the time off to catch up.
We will continue to work with our local health departments and analyze data in order to determine the best course of action moving forward into the new year. Please plan for the potential of a hybrid or full remote scenario as this is possible. Once a decision is made, we will share that information through our notification system and Clipper app.
Have a wonderful day & Go Clips!

CMS Basketball: CMS basketball games vs. Southern have been cancelled for this evening. There will be no middle school games or practice this evening.

CMS: Good morning Clippers!
As you may have heard, the Columbiana High School has moved to full remote learning for the remainder of this week and next. Columbiana Middle School will operate traditionally, as we have, until further notice.
We are working closely with our local health departments. If a change is made to our current arrangement, I will notify you as soon as possible with a school announcement and through our Clipper App.
During these times, it is easy to become complacent. However, it is difficult to ignore the growing numbers within our learning community. Please continue to do the things that we have found to work best with regards to mitigation. This includes social distancing, wearing your mask properly at all times, and hand sanitization/washing often throughout the day.
Have a wonderful day, stay safe, and Go Clips!

CMS: The message that went out regarding remote learning beginning tomorrow was specific to Columbiana High School. Columbiana Middle School will be in session tomorrow for traditional learning and will be so until further notice.
Have a great day & Go Clips!

CMS: With many remote students returning for the 2nd grading period and in an effort to maintain adequate social distancing within classrooms, the CMS master schedule for traditional students will be adjusted to accommodate four sections at each grade level starting the 2nd grading period. Consequently, a number of schedule changes will be made in order to balance class sizes. Teachers will work on class lists over the course of the next week. Prior to the start of the 2nd grading period, we explain new schedules to students. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we strive to keep our students and staff safe and continue to offer both remote and traditional learning options for our families. The school bell schedule will remain unchanged. We will still operate on our delayed start schedule with first period starting at 8:27am. There are no changes to drop-off or pick-up times/procedures. Please contact Mr. Martin with any questions. Have a wonderful day & Go Clips!
