CMS - 6th Grade Parents:
The annual 6th grade trip to Camp Fitch is scheduled for May 1-3, 2023. Parent Letters and Behavior Contracts were previously sent home.

This Wednesday (10/19) is CMS Unity Day! CMS Student Council would really appreciate your help with promoting and participating in this day. Wear orange on Wednesday (10/19) in order to promote unity and to support being inclusive and taking steps towards being kind to others within our school.

Monday, 10/24: Celebrate a drug free life with your bestie (twin day).
Tuesday, 10/25: Follow your dreams to a drug free life (pajama day).
Wednesday, 10/26: Country roads or country clubs, let’s all live a drug free life. Dress in flannels (country roads) or fancy (country club)
Thursday, 10/27: Mahalo (Hawaiian gratitude) for being drug free.
Friday, 10/28: Team up for a drug free life. Team jersey and shirt day.

CMS Reminder: We have a two hour early release scheduled for tomorrow (10/14). Middle school staggered dismissal will start at 12:35, with bus riders dismissed at 12:45.

CMS Veterans Day:
Columbiana Middle School invites all community veterans and active military service members to attend a Veterans Day celebration on Thursday, November 10, 2022. The celebration begins with a breakfast at 9 am, followed by a short program. This event will take place in the middle school cafeteria. Veterans are asked to drive around the back of the high school to the parking lot at the rear of the middle school.

On October 3, 2022 our 8th grade students has the opportunity to attend the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center (CCCTC). Students explored a variety of the options the CCCTC has to offer, along with general career exploration.

CMS Reminder: Just a reminder that our district pep rally is scheduled for tomorrow. Please review with your child transportation arrangements for the afternoon. Students who ride a bus home will be able to take the bus from the pep rally at the park. Please note that afternoon bus drop off times may be slightly different tomorrow. Car riders would be picked up at the park rather than at the school tomorrow.
