In light of the tragedy at Lowellville Schools today, Columbiana Chief of Police, Bill Meyers, will increase police presence at each of our school buildings tomorrow and as needed through the remainder of the school year. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Lowellville School District, Lowellville community, families, students, and staff.
CHS Athletics Update:
The county meet that has been rescheduled for tomorrow (5/4) will begin at 4:30pm with all running and field events. This meet will last longer than normal, as Salem's middle school league meet will be run at the same time as the Columbiana County high school meet. The bus will leave the school at 3:15pm. CHS Musical:
Columbiana High School presents the musical, "Into the Woods" this Friday, May 6th and Saturday, May 7th. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door. We hope to see you!

CHS Track Practice Update:

YSU's 24th Annual Edward W. Powers Women in STEM Career Workshop will be held on April 30th, 2022. Young ladies in 6th-12th grade can have the opportunity to attend this event. This event is designed to feature hands-on sessions and small group discussions with Women Scientists. Please see the attached flyer for more information and registration details.

Scheduling for the 22-23 School Year has begun for students in 8th-11th grade. Course Request Forms can be found on Mrs. Cleghorn's webpage (link provided below) under the Underclassmen Information Tab. Drop down to select Scheduling Information in each grade level and you will find a copy of the Program of Studies and the Grade Level Course Request Form. Please be mindful of deadlines.

Tomorrow (Mar. 1), CHS Juniors will be taking the state-provided ACT from 7:45AM-11:00AM. All other students will have two options for the day: 1. Report to school at regular time via bus or parent drop off, as normal. A study hall will be provided until 11:00AM, when classes begin for the day. 2. Report to school at 11:00AM. There will be no buses running at this time. Transportation will be the responsibility of the student. Following the completion of the ACT, Juniors will be permitted to leave for the remainder of the day, providing transportation has been arranged and a permission slip has been completed and turned in. Thank you!

Current Juniors can access the Senior Course Request Form below to select courses for next school year. Senior Course Request Forms require students to complete the form using their assigned school email address and are due by the end of the school day tomorrow, Tuesday march 1st, 2022. If you have questions regarding the Senior Course Request Form, contact Mrs. Cleghorn in the High School Counseling Office.
