Attention High School Parents: The fire alarm sounded today prior to the start of school. High school students were asked to remain in vehicles until the fire department cleared the issue. Transportation: Bus 12 route is running late today due to mechanical issues. Expect 15 minutes plus delay for anyone who rides bus 12. Also expect a different bus in its place today. Thank you.

DISTRICT: Due to a fire on/near Pittsburgh Street we will not be able to drop some bus riders off this afternoon. In these cases, we are reaching out to parents to arrange alternate transportation for the day.
Please anticipate some delays in busing this afternoon.
To further complicate things, our school phones appear to be down as well. Please email building principals or secretaries with any messages this afternoon if you cannot reach us by phone.

Attention anyone traveling to or from the CHS/CMS campus after school: The Pittsburgh street railroad crossing is closed temporarily, causing slower than normal traffic. Travel should be re-routed to avoid the Pittsburgh Street crossing. Thank you.

Just a reminder to all families that ODE has extended the free breakfast and lunch program to all students attending schools for the remainder of the 2020-2021 academic year. Dixon: If you signed up to receive breakfast and/or lunch this week, we've prepared them for you each day. Unfortunately, we've had a lot of breakfast/lunches unclaimed at the end of each day. The Columbiana School District will be closed, Thursday, December 17th due to weather. This will be the district's second calamity day. There will not be remote learning for the calamity day. South Side Middle School "Pilot Group" will report in person on Friday to school.
