The Columbiana Health Department will be providing a booster clinic to anyone in the community that wishes to receive a Moderna or Johnson and Johnson booster. The Clinic will be held in the South Side Middle School’s multipurpose room on Monday, December 27th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Anyone that wished to receive a booster is to contact the district at (330)-482-5352, Monday through Wednesday, 8:00am to 3:00pm. The County Health Department will not have the Pfizer vaccine.

Attention Parents, staff and students, In relation to the TikTok nation wide challenge to threaten schools, the school district, in conjunction with the Columbiana Police Department, swept the buildings with dogs this morning. The buildings have been cleared, and school will operate as normal on this last day before break. Individuals who make threats or posts messages to create fear and anxiety with our school community will be disciplined and reported to the police. We will make no exceptions! Attention Columbiana Staff, Parents and Students: We have been made aware of a TikTok Challenge involving threats being made against schools in order to cause disruption and increase fear with families. The Columbiana Police Department, County Sheriff, and Police Department across the county are additionally aware of this social media platform. Columbiana Schools intends to have and increased police presence. We take all threats seriously. If a student is involved with any of these behaviors, the district will follow the code of conduct which includes: Suspension, Expulsion and Law Enforcement Involvement. If you learn of anything concerning social media threats please email those directly to the building principal, as well as any platforms, usernames, account names etc. The district administration will follow up with our school resource officer to research the source. Although the majority of Columbiana students would never participate in these types of stunts, please speak to your child(ren) about the possible consequences for participating in TikTok or other Social Media challenges. District Transportation Update: Beginning this afternoon, students who previously rode Bus #4 will now ride Bus #5. Students who previously rode Bus #1 will now ride Bus #4. These changes will remain in effect for the remainder of the school year. Thank you!
