This past week, Nolan Clark, Peyton Boggs, Landon Snyder, and Carson Greene raced the 4x800 relay at the YSU indoor track meet. This was the first time a middle school team raced this distance indoors in CMS history. These student-athletes raced the track alongside high school athletes and a handful of middle school teams and set a record for future teams to chase after.
Peyton ran the fastest leg of the race, beating his fastest times during the outdoor season in 2024. Nolan raced the open 800 the previous weekend and beat his time from the first YSU meet, making 2:43.02 the new record time for indoor track for middle school boys.
Congratulations to these athletes for doing something new and representing the Clippers well! The next time they race will be during the outdoor season!
