8th-11th Grade Scheduling Announcement:
Parents and Students in Grades 8-11: Scheduling is now open for the 23-24 School Year. Mrs. Cleghorn will be in classrooms all week sharing out the Course Request Form. Forms can be accessed through my School Counseling Webpage (link below) and need to be submitted by March 10th at 2:45pm. If you have questions regarding the course request forms, contact Mrs. Cleghorn in the High School Counseling Office.

CHS Athletic Reminder:
Tonight is the last regular-season boys basketball game (rescheduled from a previous date) vs. East Palestine. Please follow the link below for information on the "Fill the Boot" fundraiser taking place tonight!
Furthermore, the boys will be at home this coming Friday in tournament action against Valley Christian (7pm). Go Clippers!

TONIGHT: "Fill the Boot" Fundraiser to benefit first responders of East Palestine Train Derailment at Clippers vs. Bulldogs Boys' Varsity Game. All proceeds will be split evenly amongst Columbiana and East Palestine First Responders! See details below!
CHS Conferences:
There are still plenty of time slots available for Thursday night's parent-teacher conferences at the high school. Please call the high school office at 330-482-3818 to schedule. Thank you!
CHS Junior Students and Families:
Please be reminded that the Juniors will participate in the State Funded ACT on Tuesday February 28th. The high school will run on a 3 hour delay with regular busing for grades 9, 10, and 12. If your student(s) drive(s) or has transportation, they may arrive between 10:45 and 11:00. If using our busing, students will report to school at regular time and will have study hall until testing concludes for the juniors. Juniors must report at normal time. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Cleghorn. Thank you!
CHS Athletic Update:
Tonight's boys' basketball game against East Palestine has been canceled. The Clips will resume play this Friday night at Struthers as they take on the Wildcats!
Attention Clippers: as of 11pm Monday the Columbiana county EMA has been conducting testing and there are no advisories for Columbiana County outside of East Palestine for the county. EPA testing has been from East Liverpool to Columbiana monitoring the air and they have received zero reportable contamination of the air.
We are currently clear for a regular schedule for today. Out of precaution, all school activities will remain indoor including any recess activities. Thank you for your patience.
CHS Robotics Update:

CMS/CHS Transportation Update (correction from previous message):
Students who normally ride Bus #9 will be riding home on Bus #2 this afternoon. Students who normally ride Bus #2 will arrive home slightly later than normal. Thank you!

Due to a situation beyond our control, tonight's boys' basketball game at East Palestine has been canceled and will not be rescheduled. The Clippers will be back in action Friday night at home vs Southern Local beginning at 5:30. Hope to see you there!
All 10th Grade students will receive a permission form today to attend the 10th Grade Career Center Field Trip scheduled for February 2nd. We encourage all students to attend this field trip. All signed permission forms must be turned in to Mrs. Cleghorn by January 26th. Attached is an electronic copy of the permission form if needed.
