CHS: We are happy to announce that Clippers for a Cure raised $450 for our Clipper Family that is fighting breast cancer in only 4 days of Penny Wars! Miss Sant's and Mr. Hostetter's homerooms collected the most pennies and won donuts during first period Monday. Mr. Wolf and Mr. Stallsmith's homerooms were sabotaged and had the most silver coins. Consequently, these gentlemen were good sports and wore some fabulous costumes to celebrate their homeroom's defeat. Thanks to all who participated and supported this great cause.

CHS Students: Penny Wars begin Monday, October 11! Each homeroom will have a money bucket in their room. For every PENNY collected, your homeroom earns ONE POINT. For each NICKEL, DIME, QUARTER, and BILL, your homeroom loses 5, 10, 25, etc. points, respectfully. The homeroom with the MOST MONEY collected will win DONUTS. The teacher(s) of the homeroom with the LEAST amount collected will be required to wear a "special" costume on Monday, October 18. So, bring in PENNIES for your HOMEROOM and silver coins and bills to SABOTAGE another homeroom Monday through Thursday next week. Monies can ONLY be put in containers before or after school OR between classes. If you disrupt a class, that homeroom teacher will report you and 50 points will be deducted from your homeroom. Monies will be collected nightly with new totals announced each morning. All proceeds from this penny war will be donated to a local Clipper family fighting cancer. Thank you, and have a wonderful weekend!
