FROM THE DESK OF DONALD MOOK, Ed.D.
Dear Parents and Community Members,
I wanted to touch base with you in regards to the state mandated school closure due to COVID-19. Governor DeWine has ordered all K-12 schools to close through April 3. The governor has indicated the school closure COULD be extended.
At this point in time, during the three week closure, the Columbiana Exempted Village School District is committed and prepared to ensuring students still receive a high-quality education. Our teachers are working diligently, preparing educational lessons for digital remote learning. We want students and parents to know that while remote learning is going on, our teachers will be available via email to answer student questions during regularly scheduled school hours.
Information regarding COVID-19 is constantly changing, and we want you to know that the Columbiana Exempted Village School District is committed to keeping families updated. Please be patient with us, as information from the state is updating every day.
The end of the grading period is this Friday, March 20, 2020. Report cards will be issued at the end of the month. Your building principal will notify you through the district app and website in regards to how report cards will be issued.
